Our team has many decades of global operating, financial and human resources expertise as well as a track record of improving business outcomes for our clients in ways that evidence themselves rapidly.

Although most of us spend much of our time at global client locations, we are based in Chicago, Dallas, Jacksonville, Scottsdale, Sydney and Tucson.

Brian GaganBrian F. Gagan is the Founder and President of Leadership Strategies LLC and holds management and human resources degrees from the University of Maine and Syracuse University.  His graduate studies have occurred at Cornell University, Franklin Pierce College and Northeastern University.  Having lived in 9 U. S. states and in Amsterdam as well as London, his background includes large business unit and P&L responsibility to $180,000,000 in Operations and Human Resources executive roles. His first of 4 consecutive and differing public company officer positions occurred when he was 30 years old, in Miami.  He maintains an active role with two Board appointments and has worked with enterprises in nearly all business sectors, domestic and international. He started his career as a police officer and since then has held executive and officer positions with Maine Medical Center, Burger King Corporation, Pillsbury, Pepsi, and Blockbuster Entertainment Corporation.  Some of Brian’s primary areas of specialty are creating rapidly successful mergers and acquisitions, enterprise inefficiency elimination, mitigation of organized labor influences, financially effective organizational structuring, reduction of variable expenses, retained executive search, candidate assessments for employment and promotion purposes, executive capability determinations, enterprise financial turnarounds, senior executive capability improvement, assistance to public company Boards of Directors and Board committees, successful domestic and international business expansion, design of executive reward structures, and elimination of insidious human capital and enterprise performance and outcome roadblocks that frequently exist without internal enterprise recognition.

He has a rare and extraordinary ability to connect closely with front-line employees, managers, senior executives, Board members, public figures, elected officials and even adversaries with a style and results that people ponder while asking, “How did he learn how to do that?”

Brian has worked in 27 countries on all continents, and on most occasions repeatedly.
