Brian F. Gagan

Brian is the Leadership Strategies Founder and President, and holds management and human resources degrees from the University of Maine and Syracuse University. He has lived throughout America and in Europe and his background includes large business unit and P&L responsibility as well as more than 36 years in operations and human resources arenas. He maintains an active role with two Board appointments and he has worked with enterprises in nearly all business sectors, large and small, domestic and international. He has held executive and officer positions with The Maine Medical Center, Burger King Corporation, The Pepsi-Cola Company, Lifetouch, CSK Auto and Blockbuster Entertainment Corporation. Some of Brian’s primary areas of specialty are mergers and acquisitions, elimination of organized labor influences, organizational structuring, retained executive search, pre-employment and pre-promotion executive capability evaluation, rapid enterprise turnarounds, senior executive performance improvement, assistance to public company Boards of Directors, international expansion, executive compensation, and elimination of human capital performance roadblocks.

Patricia M. Hayden

Patricia is the leader of our Global Leadership practice and earned her Master of Arts degree from UCLA in Latin American Studies and International Economics, and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University where she graduated with honors from the School of Languages and Linguistics. She also studied International Affairs and European Studies at the University of Madrid, Spain. Patricia has nearly 20 years of experience providing global management consulting and cross-cultural capability improvement services to over 70 companies in 32 countries around the world. She specializes in the languages and cultures of South America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and the Gulf States.

John G. Bruhn, Ph.D.

Dr. Bruhn leads our Organizational Ethics practice and earned both his B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Nebraska, and his Ph.D. in Medical Sociology from Yale University. At Yale, Dr. Bruhn was a Commonwealth Fund-Yale Fellow and a U.S. Public Health Service Fellow. After graduation he received a U.S. Fulbright Fellowship to the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. He has also been a John E. Fogarty Health Science Fellow to Poland and a World Health Organization Fellow to Australia and New Zealand.

Dr. Bruhn is known for his outstanding contributions in the areas of leadership and management of complex organizations during periods of growth, downsizing, and reframing. Dr. Bruhn is an expert in assisting organizations in the use of trust as a tool to maintain healthy and productive organizations through teamwork, delegation, unified efforts and streamlined decision-making.

Dr. Bruhn is the author of many articles and books and has served as an expert advisor and consultant in the areas of organizational performance and effectiveness.
