Nearly all our services are provided under either a fixed engagement fee or a retainer fee basis. The reason for this is largely because it has been decades since any of us have held positions paid on an hourly basis, and because the client executives who retain our services can be described the same way.
In today’s highly competitive and global business climate, hourly fees and hourly logic are not particularly beneficial for purposes of strategic and business outcome improvement purposes.
Our fees are clearly outlined in detailed proposals allowing our clients to know exactly what will be charged and what will be provided. We do not charge for travel time, even for 19 hour flights and 6 day trips. And unlike many consulting firms, all our engagement expenses such as travel and lodging are billed to our clients at our direct cost and at lowest practical levels.
We focus much more upon client success than we do upon our billings.
